Refund Policy

Spectra Cosmetic Compliance provides digital regulatory documentation and compliance services, including Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSR), Product Information Files (PIF), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Responsible Person services, and product notifications (SCPN/CPNP).

Because our services are digital, customised, and begin as soon as an order is confirmed, refunds are handled differently to physical products. Digital, custom-prepared regulatory documents are generally not fit for purpose as a "returnable" item once work has started, which is why our terms differ from a standard consumer goods policy.

Summary of Our Refund Terms

  • Before work starts: A cancellation request made within 48 hours of order confirmation, before any work has commenced, gives you the right to cancel and may be eligible for a partial refund (subject to a 15–25% administrative and processing fee).
  • After work starts: Once a consultant has been assigned, documentation drafting has begun, or an ingredient assessment has been initiated, the order is no longer eligible for a refund, cancellation, or exchange, under any circumstances.
  • Delivered documents: Once a compliance document has been sent to you by email, cloud drive link, or client portal, it is considered delivered and are non-refundable.
  • Revisions, not refunds: Most services include one to two standard revisions within the agreed scope. If something needs adjusting, please contact us to request a revision rather than a refund.

A full refund is only available where cancellation is requested before work has commenced, as set out above. This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK consumer protection law.
